Procter & Gamble - Essex

Providing a wide range of personnel for a 12 month machinery movement project. Moving a conveyor system from France to England, then modifying, installing and commissioning it.

This was a project that involved moving a PLC controlled mechanical handling system from a Pharmaceuticals Plant in France to Proctor & Gamble in Essex. This involved a complete mechanical and electrical re-design and the fitting of a new Allen - Bradley Control System. Rockall provided the mechanical/electrical Design staff, the specialist control panel wirers and the E & I Project Engineer. The software for the Controller was written in Cardiff by our Project Engineer, who then went to Essex where he remained throughout the installation and commissioning, taking over as E & I Project Manager prior to hand over. Our lead designer joined him towards the end of the project to carry out on-site modifications and complete maintenance drawings.
